Explore Pittsburgh’s Polish Hill neighborhood. A collection of images and narratives about what makes this small area of immigrant built facades, laid brick sidewalks, and steep hills interesting and notable.

This project is the partnership of artist John Eastman and photographer Jaime Bird. On separate visits to Polish Hill during the pandemic, the empty streets provided an opportunity to record buildings, sidewalks, and streets in their perfectly aged and distressed appearances.
